Please label all items and ensure your child does NOT bring: electronic devices (cell phones, games, radios...), matches, knives, junk food or money.   If any of these items are brought to camp, staff will be happy to keep them until the end of the week.  Camp Encounter and/or camp staff will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items.  If your child leaves some things behind, we will be happy to hang on to it for one month after the final day of your child’s camp.  After that time, we will wash and sort items and have them donated to Catholic Social Services or a similar organization.  Please contact us as soon as you realize something is missing.  Parents are responsible for arranging the pickup of items.

Inappropriate Behavior

There is some behavior that is considered inappropriate at camp.  Swearing, name calling, inappropriate conversations, smoking and fighting (or any form of aggressive physical contact) are a few behaviors that are considered unacceptable.  Children who display any form of unacceptable behavior will be given a warning.  If the negative behavior continues the parents will be contacted and the child given a second warning.  If there is a third occurrence the parents will be asked to come out to camp to pick up their child.

We maintain high standards of modesty.  Please take note of the following:
